September 2010 – i love value village and goodwill

I have been seriously neglecting this blog. I am still committed but my sister’s wedding was a major distraction. However, I am back and will try my very best to stay disciplined.

This fall has been a return to the classics and I am so happy. I admit I am boring and love the classic cuts. By no means is it easy because many classic cuts require a ultra slim figure that can only be maintained via a diet of water and lettuce.

One of my current favorite trend is the pleated skirt. A few weeks back while procrastinating and avoiding writing my maid of honor speech, I found myself at Goodwill with a few pleated skirts in my hand. I could not wait for the Fall season to start so I can wear them. My only fear is looking like a young school girl but I’ll have to work harder at accessorizing like a woman.
